Alma 56:47
Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas. . . Yay?

It is currently snowing right now.  We knew it was going to happen, but we were kind of praying it wouldn't.  Not because we don't want to have snow for Christmas, but because we want to ride our bikes tomorrow to do the things we want to do tomorrow.  And if it keeps snowing like it is now, maybe it will be a little hard to ride our bikes.  But we'll just have to see what happens.  We baked some cookies yesterday and we want to deliver them to the members and our investigators tomorrow.  We had to do some today, and it was so fun, I hope that tomorrow we'll be able to get the rest done.

This week we have had a few fun things happen.  We went to Joetsu for missionary splits again.  I got to work with Okada choro and we had a lesson with one of their investigators.  It went well, but she is still not sure if she has felt the Spirit before and if she wants to be baptized.  But she's following the commandments, fasting, and coming to church more than some of the members are.  We are praying she'll get an answer soon.

We were also able to find some new investigators lately, one who is the husband of a sister we recently helped start coming back to church.  He investigated the church the same time as his wife, but she was baptized and he stopped meeting with the missionaries.  But he's a way nice guy and said that he'd be willing to meet with us again.  Hopefully we'll be able to help him learn more about the church.  I think it will also help his wife grow in the gospel to.

This week we are going to have a few fun days this week.  It is going to be a holly, jolly Christmas.  It's the best time of the year.  Let's all remember Jesus Christ and keep Him in our hearts as we celebrate Christmas.  I am so thankful for all of your love and prayers.   I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Love, Elder Wixom
