Alma 56:47
Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.

A Pretty Nice Week

This week has been a pretty good week I think.  We were able to get some good things done and have some fun while we did it.  Let me think, what did we do this week...

Well we were able to find two new investigators.  One is a young college student and one is a young mother.  We had met with both of them a few times before they started to investigate, but because they were busy we weren't able to have a lesson with them until this week.  But that's okay.  What matters is that they become an investigator, not how long it takes for them to start.  Because when someone starts investigating it shows that they have an interest in what we are sharing and that helps us be able to teach better I think.  So its good to find new people with interest.

This week at our English class we had four new students come.  Four!  How crazy is that?!?  Three is a young family, which is awesome, and the other person is a lady that I met on the street while handing out Eikaiwa fliers.  It was really cool to have so many new people come.  And it was really cool because almost all of our usual students came too.  So it was the biggest class that we have had in a while.  We did a "show and tell" activity which I thought was a lot of fun.  Everybody shared nice things including the people who just came that day.  Super fun time.

We started Nakamura shimai's AB lessons this week.  We did it with a Sister who has been helping us teach her for a long time.  But from now on, it will start to be the members teaching her the lessons with us as the joints.  We will still visit her and read scriptures and talk and stuff like that, but as far as the lessons go, we are the members are going to start taking over.  I think that will be great for everyone involved.  It's nice to work in a branch with such good members.  They are always wiling to help out and they are just awesome.  It has been really cool to see the way they have just absorbed the two new members into the branch.  Super awesome.

There was transfer calls this morning.  I thought I was going to be transferring and Kano choro staying, but I was wrong.  I get to stay in Nagaoka and Kano choro is the one who is transferring.  So my new companion on Thursday will be  内田 長老 for those of you who don't read kanji, his name is Uchida choro.  He was my senpai in the MTC so it will be a lot of fun.  I'm excited to see what will happen during this next transfer.

Well that's about all that's been going on.  I'm excited for the weekend to see General Conference.  You people are all lucky and saw it already, but us in Japan have to wait a week.  But it's okay because we still get to see it.  That's the beauty of modern technology.  Yay technology!!!  Anyways that's all for this week i think.  I love you all.  Have some fun this week.
